Subsidence

Geo Environmental Drilling Ltd specialises in subsidence investigations on domestic and retail properties, council buildings and care homes .

We are currently employed by a number of technical investigation companies, structural engineers and loss adjusters all over the UK.

We have a dedicated subsidence team, who carry equipment including a window sampling rig with all related capabilities (SPTs, casing, dynamic probing), hand held drilling and coring equipment, hydraulic breaker, hand auger, various digging equipment and CCTV camera.

All logging and trial pit diagrams are undertaken by a highly experienced, degree qualified Engineer.

Due to the nature of the sites and often experiencing restricted access, the wealth of experience coupled with the diversity and versatility of our equipment means we can undertake soil sampling almost anywhere.

Slope Stability

Geo Environmental Drilling Ltd work closely with various geotechnical engineers on sites with poor stability and slopes requiring investigation. Utilising a combination of hand held drilling on steep slopes and window sampling with mini rigs at the foot and often the remote unit at the top, we can create a profile of the build -up of the slope. We are also able to install monitoring wells throughout, in order to monitor water levels.

Sites requiring investigation in the past have included roads, footpaths, dams and even swimming pools!
